Job summary

Financial Plus Credit Union, Inc. is seeking a Business Solutions Engineer to bridge business operations and IT. You will enable adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI across departments, then design and implement automation and AI-enabled workflows.

You will own the internal AI program, manage vendor relationships, and ensure governance and security standards are met. In this role you will teach others how to use the tools, build scalable solutions, and translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 5+ years in a technology role spanning automation/low-code solutions and user-facing enablement.
• Demonstrated ability to drive tool adoption — running training and getting non-technical staff to change how they work.
• Deep proficiency across the Microsoft 365 suite — Teams, SharePoint Online, Outlook, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Proven hands-on build experience with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio).
• Demonstrated ability to extract and document business requirements and translate them into working technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of data governance and security fundamentals — least-privilege access, sensitivity labeling, DLP, and Ai oversharing risks.
• Strong process-analysis skills: mapping, documentation, ROI quantification.
• Excellent communication skills to translate between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Self-directed and able to manage multiple cross-departmental initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive Microsoft 365 & Copilot Adoption across departments.
• Build tool fluency across SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot, and Power BI.
• Own the internal AI initiatives and vendor partnerships.
• Lead change management and cultivate department champions.
• Analyze current-state processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Design and build solutions with Power Platform and hand off to admins when needed.
• Ensure security and data governance considerations in all solutions.
