Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a Cost Analyst at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to perform cost estimating, lifecycle cost estimates (POEs), and EVM analyses for DoD programs. You will utilize ACEIT and support program cost management, affordability determinations, and baseline tracking.

Requires a minimum of five years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting (or four additional years of related work in lieu).

• Experience with cost estimating tools and EVM analyses.

Responsibilities

• Experience with cost estimating and case analysis of acquisition programs across all lifecycle phases per DoD directives.
• Develop and maintain POEs/LCCEs using ACEIT; support independent cost estimates and APB tracking; manage program costs.
• Conduct cost reduction analyses, cost risk evaluation, and PPBE support.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Experience with cost estimating and case analysis of acquisition programs, inclusive of all program lifecycle phases, in accordance with applicable DoD Directives, Army regulations, and policies.
• Develop and maintain Program Office Estimates (POEs, also known as lifecycle cost estimates or LCCEs) utilizing automated cost estimating integrated tools (ACEIT) software, the development of independent cost estimates to support contracts, the management of program costs and requirements against the Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), affordability determinations, and earned value management (EVM) analyses.
• Experience with cost reduction analyses, cost risk evaluation, and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution (PPBE) support.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) years experience as a Cost Analyst is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting.
• Substitutions: Four (4) additional years of related experience will substitute for Bachelor's degree.
