Job summary

Fire Department, City of New York (FDNY) seeks an Administrative Staff Analyst to lead its M/WBE Program within the Bureau of Procurement and Fiscal Services. The role involves policy development, vendor outreach, and compliance across agency procurements to maximize MWBE participation.

The incumbent will coordinate with the ACCO and MWBE Officer, provide training, analyze procurement data, and represent FDNY in MWBE-related external organizations and events.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 2 years in budget, finance, or procurement roles.
• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience including supervisory exposure.
• Alternate: 60 credits and 6 years professional experience with similar responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage/direct FDNY's M/WBE Program and coordinate with procurement staff.
• Develop policies to improve MWBE utilization and vendor outreach.
• Provide training to buyers and p-card users on MWBE goals.
• Monitor procurements and report MWBE outcomes and improvements.
