Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Group seeks a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer 3 for the Advanced Facilities Group. You will perform complex M/E construction activities, collect data, develop budget estimates, and generate bid analyses to support project strategies.

The role offers growth toward Senior M/E Engineer, requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years’ construction/engineering experience, and requires a valid driver’s license for field work. Safe, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field is required.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs increasingly complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develops budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design information.
• Learns to develop mechanical/electrical scopes of work for bid coordination and subcontractor input.
• Assists with bid analysis and selection processes and sequencing requirements of systems.
• Coordinates mechanical and electrical scopes during the bid process to meet schedules.
• Supports commissioning, pre-functional checklists and functional testing procedures.
• Promotes diversity and inclusion across JE Dunn’s organization.
