Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Material/Engineering 3 professional for our Advanced Facilities Group in Lake Charles, LA. You will perform complex mechanical, electrical and field construction tasks, develop M/E estimates from program data, and support bid analysis and subcontractor selection to meet project schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of construction/engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical plans and specs.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic estimation tools.
• Team oriented with collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates from program data and schematics.
• Assist bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Coordinate M/E scopes during the bid process and schedule.
• Support commissioning planning and functional testing.
