Job summary

Crosslake is seeking an experienced technology operator to lead integration, separation, or carve-out initiatives for private equity-backed opportunities. You will translate due diligence into executable Day 1 plans, assess technology estates, and guide cross-functional teams across time zones.

This role emphasizes practical decision-making, risk assessment, and delivering credible paths to Day 1 and beyond, with potential for interim CIO leadership if needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology experience across enterprise technology strategy, operations, transformation or delivery.
• Lead multiple technology integrations, separations or carve-outs with pre-close planning.
• Broad knowledge across applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data and operating model.
• Ability to assess architecture, challenge senior leaders and make pragmatic decisions.
• Experience crafting Day 1 plans, TSAs, and operating models.
• Financial fluency to estimate costs and synergies.
• Strong written and verbal communication for investment implications.
• Hands-on, accountable leadership with remote collaboration across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to technology due diligence with integration or separation lens.
• Assess technology estate across domains (applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, vendors).
• Identify entanglements, shared services, stranded costs and risks affecting valuation or Day 1.
• Test feasibility of proposed integration, separation or standalone model.
• Estimate one-time costs, run-rate costs, investments and potential synergies.
• Review draft TSAs and gaps in scope, service levels, duration and exit feasibility.
• Produce concise, investment-grade findings distinguishing material issues from planning needs.
• Turn diligence findings into an executable technology plan with milestones and owners.
• Define Day 1 requirements for applications, infrastructure, access and vendors.
• Shape interim/target operating models and governance for execution.
• Support TSA design, exit roadmap and capacity readiness with stakeholders.
• Establish governance and MI to give executives a clear view of readiness and risk.
