Job summary

Deloitte's M&A Technology Diligence team seeks a Product Architect Manager to evaluate the product and technology architecture of targets, helping clients make informed transaction decisions. You will act as a trusted advisor to corporate and private equity clients in a fast-paced environment.

You will synthesize technology strategy, assess cloud platforms, APIs, data flows, and security, and translate findings into clear diligence outputs and value creation recommendations for day‑1 readiness

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product architecture, software engineering, enterprise architecture, or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA with 4+ years relevant work experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize overall technology strategy by analyzing solutions and reporting outputs.
• Evaluate software products, platforms, and ecosystems for strengths, risks, and value creation opportunities.
• Assess architecture quality, debt, engineering maturity, and scalability.
• Assist in buy-side/sell-side due diligence engagements.
• Translate technical findings into diligence outputs and recommendations.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders including PE investors and CTOs/CIOs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across streams and post-close integration planning.
