Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Tax Partner in our national M&A Tax group focused on debt structuring and financial products. This senior leader advises multinational corporations, private equity firms, and partnerships on the tax aspects of planning, structuring, and executing M&A transactions, and leads debt-related analyses.

You will oversee engagement delivery, mentor teams, and drive growth through pipeline development, cross-functional collaboration, and high client service standards across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA license or equivalent.
Minimum 12 years tax experience in public accounting with middle-market focus.
Strong Excel skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and project-management abilities.
Willingness to travel and work onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior tax client service leader for complex debt restructuring and workouts.
Lead teams delivering tax services with cross-capability coordination.
Oversee multiple engagements, monitor profitability, billing, and client expectations.
Identify technical tax matters and advise on debt instrument implications in M&A scenarios.
Maintain ongoing client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
