Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a seasoned M&A Tax Partner to lead our national Financial Products practice. You will guide tax strategy, debt structuring, and cross‑firm collaboration for middle-market and multinational clients during complex transactions.

In this role you’ll mentor teams, drive client relationships, and deliver innovative tax solutions across the deal lifecycle, from planning to post‑close considerations. A CPA license and 12+ years in public accounting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited university.
• Active CPA license or equivalent professional credential.
• Minimum of twelve years of Tax experience in public accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to meet client expectations.
• Ability to lead complex tax engagements and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in debt instruments, restructuring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior tax client service leader for debt restructuring engagements.
• Lead teams delivering tax services across capabilities, geographies and specialists.
• Manage multiple engagements, monitor resources, billing, and client expectations.
• Identify technical tax matters and guide teams through complex issues.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships and drive firm growth through cross‑firm collaboration.
• Ensure quality, ethics, and professional judgment in all activities.
