Job summary

EY is inviting applications for the USA - Tax - ITTS – Transaction (M&A) Tax Advisory internship for Summer 2027. The role offers exposure to buy-side/sell-side due diligence, structuring, and cash tax modeling within a global ITTS team.

You will work on transaction lifecycle tasks, develop tax technical and business acumen, and gain experience across cross-border deals in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Actively working towards an LL.M. in Taxation or Juris Doctor, supported by a strong academic record.
• Membership or anticipated membership in a US state bar.
• Strong written and verbal communication with business fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with due diligence and tax advisory work on M&A transactions.
• Collaborate with EY tax teams globally to share data and meet deadlines.
• Support structuring, modeling, and tax attribute calculations across domestic and international deals.
• Prepare technical documents and presentations with corroborated tax findings for Managers and Partners.
