EY seeks an Intern for Summer 2027 in the USA Tax - ITTS - Transaction (M&A) Tax Advisory group. The role supports buy-side/sell-side tax work across a broad set of clients and deals, with exposure to mergers, tax structuring, and modeling. The position emphasizes collaboration, learning, and real client experience in a hybrid work environment.

The candidate should be pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation or a JD, be prepared for bar admission, and demonstrate strong communication, writing, and Excel

Qualifications

• Pursuing LL.M. in Taxation or JD with strong academics.
• Bar admission in a US state or anticipation thereof.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when needed.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence on acquisition targets to analyze risks and benefits.
• Collaborate with tax teams worldwide to share data and manage deadlines.
• Oversee engagement process from start to finish.
• Develop acquisition and disposition structures for domestic and international transactions.
• Evaluate tax aspects of financial models.
• Draft technical documents and presentations with clear tax findings.
