Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Seattle is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Strategy & Operations engagements, preparing and executing mergers and acquisitions plans to maximize deal value. You will guide client engagement teams, manage integrations/divestitures, and coach professionals while sustaining long-term client relationships.

Requires up to 80% travel, full-time schedule, and a strong background in mergers and acquisitions within a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, the Sciences, Economics, Law, or a related field and 8 years of experience.
• Alternative, Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, the Sciences, Economics, Law, or related field and 7 years of work experience.
• 3 years of experience in business integrations, divestitures, or carve-outs including experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• 4 years of experience in conducting assessments of technology, finance, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain infrastructure.
• 3 years of experience in the integration or separation of client operations.
• 3 years of experience in a consulting or professional services firm in mergers and acquisitions, including experience in merger integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs.
• 2 years of experience in synthesizing approaches in complex integration or divestiture conflicts.
• 2 years of experience in project/engagement management, including managing engagements and engagement related budgets, as well as managing, developing and coaching professional employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute mergers and acquisition plans to maximize synergies and financial benefits from transactions.
• Lead client engagement teams executing Strategy & Operations which support key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value.
• Oversee the identification of integration/divestiture risks and issues and recommend resolutions.
• Lead and direct teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds by providing constructive on‑the‑job feedback/coaching to team members.
• Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships and networks. Manage risk in the delivery of quality client services. Generate and manage new business opportunities.
