Job summary

EY-Parthenon is seeking a Strategy & Execution - Deal Management Manager to prepare and execute mergers and acquisition plans, maximizing synergies and financial benefits. You will drive operational value across the deal lifecycle, manage cross-functional workstreams, and foster client relationships in a high-performance team.

The role requires strong project management and advisory skills, supporting integration, carve-outs, and due diligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, the Sciences, Economics, Law, or related field with 5 years progressive work experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years of work experience.
• 3 years of experience in assessing technology, finance, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience in business integrations, divestitures, or carve-outs including 2 years of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• 2+ years of experience in managing cross-functional workstreams for integration or separation of client operations.
• 2+ years of experience in consulting or professional services firms in mergers and acquisitions, including merger integrations, divestitures, or carve-outs.
• 2+ years of experience in synthesizing approaches in complex integration or divestiture conflicts.
• 2+ years in project management, including coaching professionals.
• 2+ years in developing client leadership materials for integration or separation of client operations.
• 1 year in supporting business development with C-suite proposal materials.
• 1 year in project or engagement management, including budgeting and pricing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute mergers and acquisition plans to maximize synergies and financial benefits from transactions.
• Provide operationally focused support across the transaction lifecycle (carve-out, due diligence, integration).
• Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
• Maintain long-term client relationships and networks; cultivate business development opportunities.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 80% to serve client needs.
