BD, a global medical technology leader, seeks a Manager of Corporate Development in USA NJ – Franklin Lakes to drive M&A strategy and execution. You will partner with senior leadership to develop investment theses, model transactions, and manage due diligence to close strategic opportunities.

The role requires strong financial modeling, negotiation, and leadership skills, with collaboration across business units, legal, and external advisers to shape BD’s growth trajectory.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. degree; finance/accounting background preferred.
• Minimum five years' financial modeling in investment banking, corporate finance or corporate development/M&A.
• Outstanding quantitative and strategic thinking aptitude with deal experience.
• Ability to partner with attorneys and other deal professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop investment theses for potential acquisitions with operating models.
• Build financial models (DCF, LBO, merger consequences) and analyze investment returns.
• Lead due diligence planning, execution, and leadership reviews.
• Identify deal risks and devise solutions with business and functional leaders.
• Lead deal teams and coordinate with external advisors (banks, law firms, consultants).
• Support industry and competitive research to inform M&A strategy.
