Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an M&A IT Manager to join the M&A Integration & Divestiture team within Strategy & Transactions. You will guide technology-centric due diligence, integration, and separation for complex mergers and divestitures, shaping Day 1 and future IT capabilities.

Strong leadership and communication are essential for success. The role focuses on IT architecture, application rationalization, data migration, and coordinating with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years in M&A integration/divestiture within IT.
• 6+ years leading IT due diligence, integration, separation or transformation workstreams.
• 6+ years assessing applications, infra, data, security, and IT operating model in deals.
• 6+ years developing integration/separation plans, TSA inputs, Day 1/Day 100 roadmaps.
• 6+ years managing project plans, deliverables, and executive status reports.
• 6+ years consulting or industry experience; MBA plus 4+ years acceptable.
• Ability to travel ~50%.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT due diligence, integration, separation and transformation workstreams across M&A.
• Assess client technology environments; identify risks and dependencies; advise on Day 1, TSA and long-term planning.
• Manage project plans, deliverables, status reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop client-ready materials including assessments, operating models, roadmaps, and exec presentations.
• Coach junior team members and support business development and proposal work.
