Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an M&A IT Senior Consultant to guide clients through technology integration and divestiture in major transactions. You’ll help shape IT separation and integration priorities, assess applications and operating models, and deliver client‑ready analyses and plans across the deal lifecycle.

In the M&A I&D team, you’ll lead workstreams, build business cases, track milestones, and coordinate cross‑functional activities with managers and clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in M&A integration and/or divestiture service delivery within the information technology function.
• 4+ years of experience in one information technology domain.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years consulting or industry experience; MBA +2 years acceptable.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work and clients served.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through IT integration and separation planning, analysis, and execution.
• Assessing applications, infrastructure, data, and IT operating models to identify Day 1, transitional, and end-state requirements.
• Developing workplans, tracking milestones, coordinating dependencies across workstreams, and identifying changes in scope or risks.
• Building business cases, financial analyses, and client-ready deliverables to support IT synergy, cost reduction, migration, and rationalization decisions.
• Working with managers and cross-functional teams to validate outputs, communicate recommendations, and deliver work aligned to client needs and engagement objectives.
