Grant Thornton in the Arlington area is seeking an intern for Transaction Advisory to support financial due diligence engagements from planning through completion. You will work with staff, managers and partners across service lines on buy-side and sell-side assignments in various industries.

The role develops skills in Excel modeling, data-room management, and deal process coordination, with opportunities for mentorship, networking, and professional development; in-office attendance is required

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of M&A transactions.
• Attend meetings with clients, target company management, and investment bankers.
• Manage data flow and monitor the dataroom.
• Build analysis packages to analyze financial data with guidance from Managers and Directors.
• Develop custom analyses to identify key insights for clients.
• Support deal process and meet internal/external deadlines.
• Engage in networking, mentorship, and community outreach activities.
