Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Associate for Transaction Advisory Services – Financial Due Diligence in the Chicago area. This role focuses on M&A financial due diligence for private and public companies, offering exposure to a broad set of industries on an investment banking platform.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of financial due diligence experience (or related audit experience) and familiarity with data analytics tools; CPA or in progress is preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and 3+ years of financial due diligence experience (or a combination with audit experience, including at least 2 years of financial due diligence).
• Familiarity with Tableau, Alteryx and data analytics packages preferred (but not required).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP including SEC reporting and purchase accounting.
• CPA (or actively pursuing CPA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform M&A financial due diligence relating to the purchase and sale of private and public companies.
• Collaborate with client teams across a range of industries on financial analyses and diligence issues.
