Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Associate for Transaction Advisory Services focusing on Financial Due Diligence in the Boston area. You will support private equity and corporate clients by performing rigorous financial due diligence on target companies, including data extraction and analysis, and contributing to deal teams across industries.

The role requires 3+ years in financial due diligence (or related audit), a solid grasp of US GAAP and SEC reporting, and familiarity with Tableau/Alteryx.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and:
• 3+ years of financial due diligence experience (or a combination with audit experience, which must include at least 2 years of financial due diligence)
• Familiarity with Tableau, Alteryx and data analytics packages preferred (but not required)
• Strong current knowledge of US GAAP including SEC reporting, purchase accounting and transaction related issues
• CPA (or at minimum, must be pursuing a CPA)

Responsibilities

• Perform M&A financial due diligence for target companies.
• Support deal teams across industries with data analysis and diligence.
• Work with private equity and corporate clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions.
