Job summary

UHY is seeking a financial due diligence professional in Detroit to perform buy-side and sell-side engagements for middle-market clients, including private owners. The role emphasizes collaboration with senior team members and clients to deliver insightful analyses and actionable findings.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting/finance with 2–3 years in audit, corporate finance, or transaction advisory, with CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance with strong academic performance.
• 2–3 years of audit / corporate finance / transaction advisory service experience.
• CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute financial due diligence (buy-side and sell-side) engagements.
• Collaborate with senior team, clients, and target management.
• Collect financial information from target business / manage diligence request list.
• Perform financial analyses (margin assessments, trend analyses, cash proofs, reconciliations).
• Prepare key deal analyses (Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, Debt & Debt-Like).
• Write reports and deliver findings to clients.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members.
• Exposure to transactional support for capital raising, restructuring, and sell-side strategies.
