Job summary

CBIZ, Inc. is seeking a driven professional to perform financial due diligence in buy-side and sell-side transactions. You will review target financials, identify earnings adjustments, working capital and debt considerations, and assess risks that influence deal valuation and structure.

The role involves drafting Quality of Earnings and working capital reports, mentoring staff, and liaising with tax and other disciplines to meet client needs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must obtain and maintain required professional licenses.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient use of applicable technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Ability to travel based on client and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial advisory due diligence in buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Review target company financial information to identify trends, quality of earnings adjustments, working capital and net debt considerations.
• Identify potential liabilities and risks affecting valuation and negotiation.
• Draft reports on Quality of Earnings, Working Capital, and other analyses.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate staff; coordinate with tax and other disciplines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, target management, bankers, and advisors.
