Job summary

UHY International in Detroit is seeking a financial due diligence professional to perform buy-side and sell-side engagements for middle-market clients. You will work with senior team members, clients, and target management to collect data and deliver rigorous analyses.

You will develop deal analyses such as Quality of Earnings and Net Working Capital, write client-ready reports, mentor junior staff, and support capital-raising and restructuring projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance with strong academic performance.
• 2–3 years of audit / corporate finance / transaction advisory service experience.
• CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
• Collaborate with senior team members, clients, and target management.
• Collect financial information and manage diligence requests.
• Analyze financials: margins, trends, cash proofs, reconciliations.
• Prepare deal analyses (Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, Debt).
• Draft reports and present findings to clients.
• Mentor junior team members and provide leadership.
• Support transactional work for capital raising and restructuring.
