Job summary

Unity Technologies SF seeks a Director, Corporate Development to own the end-to-end M&A process, from target identification through integration, partnering with Finance, Legal, People, Product and Eng. The role guides strategy, diligence, and negotiations to drive value creation.

Location: NYC, with up to 25% travel. Base salary ranges by zone and may include equity and discretionary bonuses; relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years in IB, PE, or in-house corporate development at a tech company.
• Led multiple acquisitions end to end with post-close integration ownership.
• Strong valuation and deal modeling skills with ability to defend assumptions.
• Proven credibility with operators and senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication under pressure.
• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate diligence and reporting.
• Experience in gaming or developer platform a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and own Unity's M&A pipeline across units and products.
• Lead end-to-end deal execution: valuation, diligence, structure, and close.
• Own integration planning from diligence through day-one operations.
• Track value capture and escalate when targets slip from model expectations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, People, Product and Eng to validate assumptions.
