Job summary

Unity is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to own the end-to-end M&A process, from target identification to close and integration. You will shape acquisition priorities, source and qualify targets, lead diligence and negotiation, and own the post-close integration plan with cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with product, engineering and business leaders to define acquisition theses and map the landscape, while building relationships with targets and bankers to position Unity

Qualifications

• 8+ years across investment banking, private equity, or in-house corporate development at a technology company.
• Demonstrated ownership of post-close integration, with plan and value capture tracked against model.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, capable of defending recommendations under pressure.
• Sound judgment in ambiguity with strong operational follow-through.
• Led 3–5 acquisitions end to end, including integration accountability.
• Credibility with operators and ability to earn GM trust for acquired teams.
• Willingness to use AI tools and automation to compress diligence and reporting cycles.
• Experience in ad tech, monetization, or a developer platform business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and own Unity’s M&A pipeline, partnering with product, engineering and business units.
• Lead valuation, deal modeling, diligence, structure, negotiation, and close.
• Own integration planning from diligence through day-one readiness and synergy tracking.
• Run integration execution and report value capture against deal model.
• Develop market and competitive insights to inform Unity’s multi-year plan and acquisition theses.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, People, Product and Engineering to validate assumptions.
