Job summary

Unity Technologies in New York City seeks a Director, Corporate Development to own end‑to‑end M&A work—from sourcing and diligence through close—and to lead integration planning that begins before signing to ensure value capture and smooth post‑close operations.

You will partner with Finance, Legal, People, Product and Engineering to test assumptions, build deal models, present recommendations to senior leadership, and shape Unity’s multi‑year growth through strategic transactions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development in tech
• Led 3–5 acquisitions end to end with integration accountability
• Strong post‑close integration ownership and value capture reporting
• Expert valuation and deal modeling; defend assumptions under pressure
• Credibility with operators and senior stakeholders
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Sound judgment in ambiguity with practical follow‑through
• Willingness to use AI tools to accelerate diligence and reporting

Responsibilities

• Build and own Unity’s M&A pipeline across product, engineering and business units.
• Lead end‑to‑end transactions including valuation, diligence, structure, negotiations and close.
• Own integration planning from diligence through day‑one readiness and synergy targets.
• Report value capture against the deal model and escalate when needed.
• Partner with Strategic Partnerships to explore new categories and partnerships implications.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, People, Product and Engineering to land deals.
