Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a Digital Business Analyst to support the evolution of the Mergers & Acquisitions deal administration capabilities within the IS suite of tools. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years’ related business line experience or 8 years combined higher education/experience.
• Working knowledge of financial services, banking, corporate trust, and mergers & acquisitions.
• Ability to document business requirements, functional specs, data requirements, and testable outcomes.
• Experience with agile delivery, backlog refinement, and sprint planning in Jira or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Design Thinking and user-centered discovery in digital product development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior product owners and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into digital workflows and data requirements.
• Document current and future-state business processes using visual tools and process modeling.
• Define acceptance criteria, test data needs, and evidence requirements for testing.
• Partner with QA, technology, operations, and business users to validate delivered solutions.
• Triage production issues and reporting requests for M&A applications.
• Support backlog refinement and delivery readiness through properly sized, sequenced requirements.
