Job summary

M&T Bank’s Wilmington Trust IS division is seeking a Digital Business Analyst to support M&A deal administration capabilities within a digital-first product suite. You will translate business needs into digital workflows, define data requirements, and help shape product vision and roadmaps in collaboration with product owners.

The role requires strong discovery, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with risk, compliance, operations, and technology teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years related business experience.
• Combined minimum of 8 years higher education and/or work experience.
• Working knowledge of financial services, banking, corporate trust, and mergers & acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior product owners and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into digital workflows, data requirements, and business rules.
• Document current and future-state business processes using visual tools and process modeling techniques.
• Define data requirements, business logic, and traceability to system of record.
• Translate business needs into features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data requirements.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, feature decomposition, and delivery readiness.
• Define business acceptance criteria, test scenarios, data needs, expected results, and evidence for testing.
• Partner with quality engineering, technology, operations, and business users to validate delivered solutions.
• Triage production issues and reporting requests to support users and M&A applications.
