Fandom seeks a Corporate Development Director to drive the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, partnering with the CFO/COO and executive leadership to evaluate, diligence, and execute acquisitions.

You will lead deal sourcing, modeling, and diligence while coordinating with internal teams and external parties to inform strategic decisions and drive growth within a gaming/entertainment ecosystem.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of investment banking, 3+ years in corporate development and/or private equity.
• Expertise in building financial and valuation models.
• Experience on M&A transactions of varying sizes, from acqui-hires to full company purchases.
• Must-have: Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Google Slides; comfortable with AI (Claude).

Responsabilidades

• Work with the CFO/COO on deal sourcing, qualification, initial rationale/pitch, financial modeling, due diligence and deal closing activities.
• Assist and provide support during M&A integration periods.
• Analyze industry trends to identify potential acquisition targets.
• Develop industry landscapes and competitive analyses for board/executive level review.
• Direct diligence efforts between internal and external parties.
• Analyze diligence data and create board/executive level presentations.
• Manage data room and distribution of materials to appropriate parties, act as primary contact for diligence requests.
• Independently build financial models and forecasts for potential acquisition targets to inform valuation and budgetary needs.
• Be comfortable working with limited information to create low/base/high scenario analyses.
• Experiment with different types of business models and translate them into a detailed operating model.
