Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA certification or active pursuit is required.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, with exposure to M&A or integration.
• Working knowledge of ASC 805, US GAAP, and SOX frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing due diligence and flag accounting risks.
• Compile target accounting policy documentation and map gaps to CBRE standards.
• Support preparation of closing statements and balance sheet accuracy.
• Maintain working papers and schedules for earnout and escrow tracking.
• Support Day 1 readiness including chart of accounts mapping and intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate with acquired teams and CBRE controllership on integration tasks.
