  • Track earnout and escrow schedules, maintaining accurate records of balances and key dates

Day 1 Readiness Execution
  • Execute chart of accounts mapping and trial balance conversion under the direction of the Controller Resident

  • Support establishment of intercompany structure and elimination entries

  • Coordinate with acquired accounting teams on close calendar alignment and process acceleration

  • Maintain and track the Day 1 readiness checklist, flagging open items and risks to the Controller Resident

  • Assist in payroll accounting continuity and cash/banking visibility setup in coordination with Payroll, HR, and Treasury

Integration Planning & Execution
  • Maintain and update the controllership integration project plan, tracking milestones, owners, and status

  • Prepare documentation of accounting policy harmonization decisions and open items

  • Support ERP and systems migration from an accounting data and process perspective

  • Coordinate between acquired accounting teams and CBRE segment/corporate controllership on day-to-day integration tasks

Purchase Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Prepare supporting schedules and workpapers for purchase accounting under ASC 805

  • Assist in the preparation and validation of the Day 1 opening balance sheet

  • Maintain documentation for measurement period adjustments and post‑close accounting matters

  • Support preparation of financial statement footnote disclosures related to acquisitions

  • Maintain audit‑ready documentation packages across all purchase accounting workstreams

Controls, Compliance & Global Considerations
  • Support SOX integration activities, including control documentation, testing coordination, and remediation tracking

  • Assist in coordinating with local and statutory accounting teams on jurisdiction‑specific reporting requirements

  • Maintain onboarding checklists and training materials for acquired accounting resources

  • Serve as a first point of contact for acquired teams navigating CBRE processes in the post‑close period

Partnership Model & Success Criteria

  • Coordinate with M&A Finance Manager, Corporate Development, Legal, HR, Digital & Technology, and M&A Operations on transaction‑related tasks
