Job summary

BKF is seeking a Systems Engineer – M&A Integration to lead technical integration activities for acquired companies. You will migrate Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive, while aligning identity, security, and endpoint strategies with BKF standards.

The role requires hands-on Microsoft 365 migration experience, strong PowerShell skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple acquisitions with after-hours support when needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering and migrating Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with tenant, email, collaboration-platform, or enterprise IT migrations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, identity synchronization, MFA, SSO, and conditional access.
• Experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Configuration Manager or similar endpoint-management platforms.
• Experience supporting endpoint readiness, device enrollment, application deployment, and user onboarding.
• Familiarity with Azure administration, access, permissions, subscriptions, networking concepts, and cloud services.
• Troubleshooting across identity, email, collaboration, endpoint, and cloud environments.
• PowerShell, documentation and technical-procedure skills.
• Ability to support multiple concurrent acquisition projects and after-hours cutsovers.
• Strong communication with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and acquired-company personnel.
• Experience with 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations and Google Workspace to Microsoft migrations.
• Experience with migration tools (BitTitan MigrationWiz, Quest, AvePoint, ShareGate).
• Automation of 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, or Azure with PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Defender, Purview, Sentinel, or related security platforms.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, onboarding.
• Experience working with MSPs, consultants, and integration vendors.
• ITSM, change-management and project-tracking processes.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications.

Responsibilities

• Execute integration activities for acquired companies per BKF architecture and migration plans.
• Migrate data and services into Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Manage identity & access: Entra ID, AD, SSO, MFA, conditional access.
• Coordinate endpoint deployment, Intune enrollment and security policy application.
• Support Azure-related cloud-integration activities and licensing.
• Collaborate with IT teams, consultants, and vendors to gather requirements.
• Follow runbooks, cutover plans, validation, rollback, and hypercare.
• Troubleshoot issues during migration, cutover and stabilization.
• Document environments, configurations, risks and status; contribute to playbooks.
• Escalate risks and design decisions to Senior M&A Technology Integration Engineer.
