Job summary

BKF, a multi-service infrastructure consulting firm, seeks a Systems Engineer – M&A Integration who will execute technical integration activities for acquired companies. You will migrate Microsoft 365 environments, manage identity provisioning, and coordinate with IT teams and vendors.

The role emphasizes independent work within existing migration plans, with after-hours cutovers and travel to client sites as needed. Strong PowerShell skills and experience with migration tools are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering and migrating Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with tenant, email, collaboration-platform, or enterprise IT migrations.
• Working knowledge of Entra ID, AD, MFA, SSO, and CA.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical integration activities for acquired companies per BKF standards.
• Migrate data to BKF platforms including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online.
• Support migrations from Google Workspace and other sources.
• Manage identity and access integration with Entra ID, AD, SSO, MFA.
• Assist endpoint deployment and Intune enrollment, security policies, user auth.
• Coordinate Azure-related cloud integration and permissions.
• Collaborate with IT teams, consultants, and vendors on integration work.
• Follow runbooks, cutover plans, validation, rollback, and hyper care processes.
• Troubleshoot issues during migration, cutover, and stabilization.
• Document environments, configurations, risks, and completion status.
• Develop reusable integration playbooks, scripts, and automation.
• Escalate risks and design decisions to senior engineer.
