Job summary

BDO Capital Advisors seeks a Managing Director to advise on mergers and acquisitions and strategic solutions, driving business development to convert prospects into clients. The role oversees transactions to ensure timely deliverables and mentors the execution team, requiring entrepreneurial, metrics-driven thinking focused on revenue results.

You will lead and coordinate due diligence, valuation, and negotiations, with a leadership depth across vp’s, associates, and analysts, and must be able

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, required
• MBA degree, required
• 10+ years of experience at an investment bank or similar corporate finance vertical
• Experience successfully managing and leading a team of vp’s, associates and/or analysts
• FINRA Series 63 and 7 or 79 licenses, or in active pursuance of licensure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Executes buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements and due diligence
• Engages in business development by marketing services and developing client networks
• Networks with prospects to build revenue-producing relationships
• Analyzes client data to identify trends and assess risks to guide decisions
• Reviews transaction documents and provides insights for negotiations
• Identifies pre- and post-close opportunities and go-to-market strategies
• Oversees engagement teams and ensures timely product delivery
• Leads day-to-day execution of transactions including due diligence and valuation
