Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a part-time, remote contractor to apply M&A expertise to improve how advanced AI handles real-world contract review, negotiation, and redlining. This role focuses on training and evaluating legal AI systems used for precise contract analysis and risk interpretation.

You will conduct simulated contract negotiations, review AI responses, and develop objective evaluation frameworks to guide AI tasks.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 2+ years in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
• Familiarity with APAs and SPAs.
• Strong contract negotiation and redlining experience.

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.


• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves precision and performance.


• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-focused AI tasks.


• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidance, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.


• Help shape the development and application of AI for legal work, drawing on experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology-sector agreements.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.


• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.


• At least 2 years of experience in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.


• Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including asset purchase agreements (APAs) and stock purchase agreements (SPAs).


• Strong contract negotiation and redlining experience.


• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical ability.


• Ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.


• Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.


• Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Work Terms

Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

$90 to $150 per hour.
