Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a part-time independent contractor to apply M&A and contract expertise to train and evaluate advanced AI systems used in real-world legal work. This remote role centers on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology-sector agreements, improving how AI identifies risk, interprets contract language, and delivers precise legal analysis.

You will provide expert feedback on AI responses, develop evaluation frameworks, and collaborate with product and research teams

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 2 years of experience in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
• Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining.
• Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including asset purchase agreements and stock purchase agreements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, close attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology, with experience collaborating across disciplines in fast-paced environments.

Work Terms

• Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.
• Work is completed on a task-by-task basis. Typical handling time is approximately 3.5 hours per task.

Compensation

$90 to $130 per hour.

Payment is task-based for completed work that meets project specifications. Effective hourly earnings depend on the volume of completed tasks and successful sign-off.
