Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Accountant, M&A Accounting to support its hyper-growth and scale global integration efforts. This role reports to the Director, M&A Accounting and sits within a dedicated team focused on centralizing M&A responsibilities from the broader Anduril Accounting department.

The ideal candidate is execution‑oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and will drive complex financial integrations across people, processes, policies, and technology.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience at lead/manager level or in senior consulting roles.
• Experience supporting M&A accounting, financial due diligence, or business integrations.
• Strong background integrating acquired processes into ERP systems.
• CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and partner with a dedicated M&A accounting team to centralize and execute all related accounting activities.
• Lead and assist with pre-close accounting and tax due diligence for target acquisitions.
• Lead Day One post-acquisition readiness, including onboarding and integration planning for people, processes, policies, and tech for the acquired teams.
• Travel on Day One post-acquisition to brief acquired accounting teams on Anduril's people, processes, and systems.
• Prepare closing balance sheets and supporting documentation; review acquired entities' closing balances with stakeholders.
