Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing.
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with safe body mechanics.
• Designs and adjusts a plan of care based on patient response and evidence.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine physical therapy diagnoses and outcomes.
• Documents according to policy and coordinates discharge planning.
• Supervises PTA and rehab technicians and communicates with the medical team.
