Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Active Physical Therapist license (PT) in the appropriate state.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Commitment to continuing education for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with proper body mechanics to ensure safety.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Designs and adjusts plan of care based on patient response and evidence.
• Completes documentation per policy and communicates discharge plans.
