Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced LVN/LPN to provide nursing care within the scope of practice, adhering to standards, physician orders, and center policies.

The ideal candidate has long-term care experience, PCC charting proficiency, an active LVN/LPN license in California, and a current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one. Experience in nursing management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Long-term care experience required.
• Point Click Care charting experience.
• Active California LVN/LPN license.
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire.

Responsibilities

• Follow established charting and incident reporting procedures.
• Follow company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Document any change in patient's conditions including nutrition, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or other noticeable changes.
• Utilize the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Make rounds with physicians when necessary.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Long Term Care experience
• Point click care charting experience
• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.
