Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a licensed LVN/LPN in California to provide nursing care within scope of practice in accordance with standards and physician orders.

The role requires long term care experience, familiarity with Point Click Care charting, and compliance with center policies and state, federal and local guidelines. The candidate should document changes and participate in rounds with physicians while following narcotic and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Long Term Care experience required.
• Current CA LVN/LPN license.
• BLS/CPR certification required or willingness to acquire.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follow procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Document changes in patient condition including nutrition, infections, skin issues, weight changes.
• Utilize the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement and monitoring in programs.
• Document and notify departments of room changes, LOA, new admits or discharges.
• Make rounds with physicians when necessary.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Long Term Care experience
• Point click care charting experience
• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
