Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a licensed LVN/LPN to provide nursing care within the scope of practice and in alignment with standards and physician orders. The role requires LTC experience, charting via PointClickCare, and current licensure in the practicing state, with CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain it.

The nurse will document patient changes, follow narcotic and restraint reduction procedures, and collaborate with physicians during rounds as needed, ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Long Term Care experience is required.
• Point click care charting experience is required.
• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including nutrition, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Long Term Care experience
• Point click care charting experience
• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.
