Job summary

PACS is seeking an LPN/LVN nurse supervisor to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. You will direct daily nursing functions, enforce policies, and participate in quality assurance.

The role requires leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to plan shifts, coordinate with departments, and maintain accurate documentation and discharge planning. Must hold an active nursing license.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with applicable rules and guidelines.
• Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility’s quality assurance program.
• Plan shifts and coordinate nursing services with other departments to maintain residents’ total regimen of care.
• Maintain nursing documentation, discharge plans, and related charts per procedures.
