Job summary

PACS is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (LPN/LVN) in the United States to lead nursing staff, ensure policy compliance, and participate in quality assurance and regulatory surveys. You will oversee admissions, charting, and coordination of care across departments to maintain high standards of resident safety and comfort.

Must hold an active nursing license and a degree or diploma as described, with strong leadership and communication skills essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently.
• Must have leadership and supervisory ability and work well with staff and residents.
• Experience in nursing care facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure rules and guidelines are followed.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Review department policies, procedures, and job descriptions; propose revisions.
• Plan shifts, services, and activities with staff and support personnel.
• Participate in QA program development and participate in surveys when requested.
• Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate nursing care with other departments and maintain charting and documentation.
• Ensure proper drug administration and narcotic controls per policy.
