Roseville Care Center is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our nursing team on a part-time basis. The LVN provides direct nursing care to residents while supervising and supporting nursing assistants and ensuring care is delivered in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate is a positive leader who takes pride in providing quality resident care and creating a calm, respectful environment.
The LVN must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday and perform the physical requirements necessary to provide resident care. The position may require pushing, pulling, moving, and/or carrying up to 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and a minimum distance of 50 feet. The employee must be able to communicate effectively, cope with the mental and emotional demands of the position, and work effectively with elderly, ill, disabled, emotionally upset, and occasionally hostile individuals. The LVN may be required to assist with the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
