Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
• Ability to use computer or tablet to enter resident data.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care in privacy and per standards.
• Check vital signs, dressing wounds, dress catheter care, and collect samples.
• Observe and report changes to a charge nurse; document progress notes.
• Assist and supervise CNAs; ensure equipment is maintained and safe.
• Protect resident privacy; follow infection control policies and hospital procedures.
• Attend annual in-service training; perform additional duties as directed.
