Job summary

Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in a compassionate, respectful manner. The LVN will monitor vital signs, dress wounds, and assist with catheter care while maintaining privacy and dignity for each resident.

The role requires English proficiency, ability to document resident data, and collaboration with CNAs and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
• Ability to use computer or tablet to enter resident data.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing setting is preferred.
• CPR and BLS certification are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing routine daily nursing care to residents.
• Maintaining privacy during nursing care.
• Checking vital signs and dressing wounds.
• Inserting catheters as needed.
• Listening to residents and families to address concerns.
• Communicating clearly with residents, families, and staff.
• Documenting resident progress notes accurately.
• Reporting changes in a resident's condition to the charge nurse.
• Assisting and supervising CNAs.
• Ensuring equipment is in good operating order.
• Monitoring residents at risk for falls.
• Collecting lab samples.
• Adhering to facility policies, including protecting user IDs/passwords.
• Following Infection and Control policies.
• Reporting occupational exposures to supervision immediately.
• Attending annual facility in-service training.
• Completing other assignments as directed.
