Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of LVN training from accredited school or college.
• Valid LVN license in good standing.
• Valid CPR and BLS card.
• IV Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing routine daily nursing care with privacy.
• Checking vital signs and wound care.
• Inserting catheters as required.
• Listening to residents and families to address concerns.
• Charting resident progress notes accurately and promptly.
• Reporting changes to the nurse supervisor.
• Assisting and supervising CNAs and ensuring equipment is functional.
• Adhering to infection control and facility policies.
• Participating in annual in-service training.
