Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites qualified LVNs to join the Castner - Nursing team at the Austin State Supported Living Center. This full-time role provides clinical nursing care in a busy clinic and offers comprehensive benefits.

You will supervise clinic staff, manage patient records, coordinate with PCPs, and deliver skilled nursing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a LVN program.
• 6 months prior employment experience as an LVN.
• At least 12 months of prior employment as an LVN is preferred.
• Experience working with persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Experience organizing or leading others in a clinic setting is preferred.
• Experience using an electronic health record system is preferred.
• Experience training/teaching or leading others is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and organizes clinic operations and supervises staff.
• Manages patient appointments and records in the electronic system.
• Administers medications and treatments per facility protocols.
• Coordinates with PCPs and nursing staff to ensure timely care.
• Trains LVN staff and provides on-the-job guidance.
