Health & Human Services Comm in Brenham, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse III to provide skilled nursing care at the State Supported Living Center. The role supports residents with complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs across multiple homes.

Evening shifts are available, with potential additional pay for evenings/nights and weekends. This position emphasizes on-the-job training for LVNs, supervision of staff, and collaboration with RN colleagues to improve health

Qualifications

• Active LVN license in Texas or compact state with reciprocity.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience delivering direct patient care in a facility setting preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train direct care staff and LVNs as needed.
• Comfort with on-call and weekend/holiday scheduling as required.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs, weight, diet, and overall health status of residents.
• Provide onboarding and on-the-job training for new LVN staff.
• Document care in electronic health records with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with RN and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
