Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Merced, CA for pediatric seizure care. The role requires at least one year of LVN experience and active LVN licensure in the practicing state.

The position features a night schedule Wednesday through Saturday, 9pm–9am, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Hands-on training is provided, with licensing and TB/BLS requirements addressed by the team.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as LVN in the state of practice.
• Must have at least one year of LVN experience.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray (provided with costs covered if needed) and BLS card availability required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses from health care team.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
